1. This Hape Pound and Tap Bench is still a favorite of ours! The removable xylophone is one of our favorite parts!

2. Oh man, you’re going to want a good teether for these months! Your little one will soon be starting solids and avocado will likely be on top of that list. How fun is this avocado teether from Oli and Carol?

3. Your little one will love pulling out this Montessori Coin Drawer and working to slide the coins in. This works on fine motor skills as well as the concept of object permanence.

4. This beautifully-crafted Montessori Object Permanence Box works to help your little one understand the skill that just because you can’t see something doesn’t mean it’s not there.

5. These puzzles from Melissa and Doug are so well-made! We love the pet animals and fishbowl ones best! While your little one might not be totally ready for puzzles until close to a year, you can most definitely do some hand over hand practice with them. Just gripping the knob is such great fine motor work.

6. Your little one will soon begin solids and this EzPz mini mat has been our favorite. We are STILL using ours! It would be perfect to get started with one or two, or gift one to in-laws if you are frequent flyers and don’t want to take yours everywhere. Enjoy 10% off with the link above.

7. These Honeysticks Crayons were great to start the girls off with. Nontoxic and made out of beeswax, they are beautiful and have such rich color.

8. I love that the Grimm’s Wooden Toys coordinate colors. The unique hues you see will continue with their entire line! This wooden stacker is major goals!

9. We began using this IKEA mirror a little before 6 months during tummy time, but used Command Strips to secure it to the wall to motivate the girls when they were sitting. What’s better than looking at a cute baby staring back at you? We are still using it in play, and have secured the stand to the back.

10. This Hape Wooden Drum is still a favorite of ours! And the tambourine is something the girls consistently play with at school! Hape toys are so well made and charming!

11. Another beautifully-crafted toy from Hape! Your little will watch the ball go back and forth and love the ringing bell as it hits the bottom and rolls back down on this Marble Run.

12. I quite possibly saved the best for last. Another toy the girls started using around 9-10 months and STILL love. This iconic Radio Flyer Wagon Walker clicks and provides enough resistance so it doesn’t shoot out from under your little babe. I have dozens of videos of the girls pushing each other, the cat, pumpkins, their stuffed animals. Such great memories with this classic toy!
